    Demo of Stamina Rower

Customer Video Review Length:: 1:17 MinsSo far, so good. I was a little upset that there weren't any video reviews for this product, (youtube, from the company itself etc.) so I promised myself that I'd make a video demonstration for others to judge. The basic stuff you need to know: There are 12 levels of resistance (I was using resistance level 8).The computer tells you how many complete rows you have performed, time performed, calories burned or you can scan through all three (My computer didn't work when it first arrived, but after a solid punch it woke up and started working). The resistance is nice. You'll get a good workout with this inexpensive machine. Storage is convenient, but don't be fooled, 35 pounds is heavy to move around from room to room. Keep the machine close to where you plan on using it. Finally, the footstraps were a major complaint. My complaint about the footstraps is that it doesn't hold your feet securely against the footrests. The clicking noise you hear in... 5/5 Louie the Italian Jew "Lou da Joo" - See all my reviews, September 25, 2010

    I've had this for 1 1/2 years - still a great machine

I've used this machine for 45 min every other day for a year and a half. It is this only exercise that I do and I have seen remarkable results. I am 30 years old and I have lost thirty pounds of fat and have turned an average body type in an athletic one. My back and shoulders have especially benefited. Those are the results you can expect from using this low impact, compact, easy to use and actually pretty fun piece of exercise equipment - all form the comfort of your living room.As for the machine itself: Pros:It is sturdy - I am 6'2" and 190lbs (started at 220lbs) and have never had a problem with stability.I like the free rowing arms (as opposed to a bar like I've seen at gyms), gives the feel of a real row boat and also allows for exercising different parts of arms and back.Quick results - and probably quicker if I made some changes to my diet.Cons:Calorie counter sucks butt. Infact the computer in its entirety... 4/5 oddBobby (Dallas) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) 0 5/5 Linda (United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Stamina Body Trac Glider 1050 Rowing Machine (Sports) .PROS:a. Real rowing (oar-like) action, rather than just pulling on a single T-bar.b. Comfortable even with tall people (I'm 6'1').c. Adjustable rowing tension.d. A very sturdy, rigid, and well-built frame.e. Easy to assemble.f. Takes little room to use.g. Very low cost (one hundred twenty dollars).CONS:a. The seat is not well padded.b. The unit creaks and squeaks a bit until it is warmed-up.c. No instructions explaining how to actually row properly. Built like a tank ~ Designed to last a lifetime ~ Made in USA

This is the best investment that I've ever made in a piece of exercise equipment. It will literally last a lifetime.I was looking for a high quality indoor rowing machine, as it's one of the best workouts for your entire body. I'm so glad that I not only purchased a Concept2, but that I opted to pay the extra cost for the Model E. Since the Model E is elevated to the same level as a regular chair, it's much easier to get in and out of than the Model D. This is of particular importance if you have any issues with mobility or if you're elderly. In my case, due to having had back surgery, it was essential that I purchased this model. It's absolutely worth the extra cost.Since first using this rower on 04/13/2014 I've logged over 200,000 meters, which is close to 125 miles. The feel of the rower is exquisite. Since it's made of such high quality materials, using it is all but effortless. The seat slides along the monorail in near total silence and the fan noise is... 5/5 Expressed Reviews "Expressed Reviews" (Saratoga Springs, NY) - See all my reviews, December 5, 2014

Best piece of exercise equipment that money can buy

Concept2 has been the leader in its field since 1981. Whether you buy the model E or the functionally identical and cheaper model D (a better choice for anyone without severe mobility problems), you will have a piece of exercise equipment that is simply perfect. Both machines come with an outstanding performance monitor that interfaces with PCs, iPads, Android devices and iPhones. Using my machine, my resting pulse rate went from ~65 to ~40, blood pressure dropped dramatically from ~130/80 to ~105/65 and, when my doctor tested my lung capacity, I broke his testing machine. This machine will make you lean, massively increase your lung capacity and cardiovascular fitness, and drop your weight, heart rate, and blood pressure. There is an active online community, and online rowing software so that you can row with others, and therefore never need to row alone. The machines are basically indestructible, and C2 still supports its products going back to the original model A of more than 30... 5/5 Kuma (Berkeley, California) - See all my reviews This review is from: Concept2 Model E Indoor Rowing Machine with PM5 (Sports) Concept2 has been the leader in its field since 1981. Best in house exercise available.

I have had my Concept2 rower for about 8 years now and it continues to perform flawlessly. This thing is a tank.Rowing, swimming, and cross country skiing are considered to be the best full body work outs available. It's 8 degrees in Detroit as I write this, so swimming is not an option. This is a much better exercise than an elliptical. A bonus for me is that I have a heart valve condition that does not allow weigh lifting, but does allow the rowing. The rower is high quality, fun to use, and there are a surprising number of workouts available--everything from intervals to long distance rowing. Check out the online rowing community and sign up for the workout of the day from the good folks at Concept2. There are folks with suggestions for using rowing for cross training. I'm a cyclist and feel the rower is a great supplement to my first love on the bike. Oh, and Strava now has a rowing option.I would NOT buy an extended warranty as this machine is... 5/5 Amazon Customer "risnewski" (Motor City) - See all my reviews This review is from: Concept2 Model E Indoor Rowing Machine with PM5 (Sports) I have had my Concept2 rower for about 8 years now and it continues to perform flawlessly.
