FYI This bike is not good for tall people

0 3/5 Danielle Genevro - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Sunny Health and Fitness Indoor Cycling Bike (Sports) FYI This bike is not good for tall people! The seat height is adjustable, however, I am 5'2" and I have to adjust the seat on the 4th setting. My husband is 6'3" and the highest seat placement is not tall enough for his legs to properly extend. This bike is certainly better for shorter folks. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , October 1, 2014

    Great bike for the price!

0 4/5 Jenell Riesner (WI) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Sunny Health and Fitness Indoor Cycling Bike (Sports) As a cycling instructor, I wanted a spin bike to use at home. For the price, this bike was a great deal. I don't love it as much as the schwinn bikes I use in class. But overall a great at home bike. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , July 22, 2014

    All Good

Bought this item via Amazon over other retailers because of the free shipping (delivered very quickly by Fed-Ex). Took a while to put together, and the tension chord was a complete bitch, but I broke out my trusty wrench and got it in place. This bike is very sturdy, and I tightened the piss out of the nuts and bolts so it would be. I can see where the base legs and seat may wobble if the bolts are not tight, so be vigilant about that. Had to get used to the smooth, noiseless ride, and the higher tension settings will get smoother as I get more used to it. The lower settings are very smooth and effortless. The plastic case was intact, no bolts were missing, all was good, and the bike fits into a convenient spot in my apartment and takes up little space. As a cardio exerciser, it works well, and after 15 minutes of use I was sweating like, well, like a fat guy on a bike. After 30 minutes I could barely walk, but, again, that's due to me, not the bike. The seat really does hurt the... 5/5 BJM "BJM" (Grand Island, NE United States) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Good moderate-exertion women's bike

I ride a real bicycle 3-4 times a week. I have very muscular legs and can easily ride 20+ miles over the course of the day.I bought this exercise bike so I can stay fit without having to go out in the nasty weather (snow, rain, and ice.)Assembly: Straightforward and fairly easy. But, the plastic body of the bike is cracked on one side. I'm ticked off about that, but it doesn't affect the bike's function.Seat: There is nothing wrong with this seat. I don't know why so many users have complained; I'm guessing they are not frequent bike riders and are looking for an easy way to get fit. Virtually any bike seat is uncomfortable if you aren't used to riding a bike. As for me, after riding this bike for an hour I have no butt discomfort. I attribute this to my regular bike usage. For newbies, I estimate it will take a week or so to become accustomed to sitting on a bike seat.Exertion: The highest setting is not difficult to pedal. Maybe this... 4/5 The Doc - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Marcy Upright Mag Bike (Sports) I ride a real bicycle 3-4 times a week. Excellent, with a caveat (updated 12/2013)

I researched pretty thoroughly before buying and for the $ this was exactly what I was looking for - a combo of simplicity and quality. I knew I wouldn't be compelled to use it if it felt shoddy, but it is quiet and sturdy. Some of the issues brought up by other reviewers were concerning- difficult for one person to put together, poor resistance, hard seat, etc. and here's what I've found:Assembly: The tension cable was a bit tricky to set up until I found that if you turn the resistance dial on the front post towards 8- it will give you more length to work with. It was so much easier to assemble after that. Don't fret if it seems like it may be too loose- dial back to shorten to easily place into the housing. Overall, even with adjusting it, it took me about 30-40 minutes to put together.Resistance: When I first started riding I was almost at the max resistance, and I'm no athlete, so I knew something had to be adjustable or it was bad goods. The... 5/5 S. Jones - See all my reviews, October 8, 2011

tough assembly but sturdy as a rock

0 5/5 Bob C. - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Weslo Pursuit R 2.2 (Sports) so far the bike is very smooth, the lcd screen is worthless unless you are in well lit room, or under a light, but does work properly. at under a $100 this is a steal !!!!the assembly can be a little rough, some of you might want an extra person to help. the bolts are treated with blue locktite which can make mounting parts with the allen wrench provided a little tough for the timid. pay attention when connecting the wires for display together, and off to the races.PS - couldn't get heart rate monitor to work... you will find a very thin plastic coating on each of the heart rate pads peel them off, and your good to go. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , May 25, 2013

    An Inexpensive Bike

I am a bit disappointed. First of all, the box arrived with one of the cranks sticking out of its side. Unpacked it and it looked okay. Assembly was easy, but when I started pedling, the consol did not work. It displayed okay, but did not register speed or distance or anything else. Took it back apart and checked all the connection and they were okay. Checked the manual under troubleshooting and it explained I had to take the left pedal and plastic shield off and adjust the sensor switch, moving it closer to the magnet on the crank assembly. In doing that, I found the plastic shields were broken in 6 places due to the rough handling the unit took as evidenced by the damage to the outside packaging. I have gone back to the manufacturer for replacement shields. We shall see if they provide replacements. As far as the bike goes, it is sturdy and has a comfortable seat. It has magnetic resistance, but I did not understand that you could only vary the resistance... 3/5 Clark Shilling - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Great Bike and Awesome Price!

I bought this bike during a major sale after trying some spin classes with a friend. The spin classes became too expensive to continue with, so I decided to get a bike to keep up the exercise at home. In comparison to the bikes used in spin class, the only thing I found to be missing was the fact that you can't slide the seat forward or backward. You can adjust the height, just not forward or backward. I still haven't figured out how to get the display to tell me how far in miles I've gone (it gives a number, but I don't know what it's measuring), however I haven't read through the entire owner's manual yet, either. The tension is easy to set with a dial that can be set from zero to ten in resistance (I use the ten for when I stand up to pedal).Assembly was a little difficult just by myself, but I think it would be easy with a second person (which is what the instructions recommend). It's sturdy and the seat is comfortable. The seat adjusts low enough that my 11-year-old can use... 4/5 R. Freeman (Michigan) - See all my reviews, July 1, 2013
