A very sensible motion is observed in the stamina of many plants, at the moment when the antheræ are expanding, and the pollen is ready to escape. By this motion, the anthera is directed towards the pistil, and, in some instances, ...

"I N enlarging, in a late article, on the fpecies of eloquence adapted for the pulpit, we remarked that the ftyle frequently crept on with fo much uniformity as not to excite the attention, and with fo little fervour, that the preacher was not always animated by his own ideas. This is not a fpecies of eloquence of the milder kind, though not very differentia effect. The ftyle is polifiied; but its beauty is without energy, and confifts in fplendid prettinefs, without a manly dignity of thought or of expreffion. It plays about the heart without affecting the judgment. The firft Sermon is on the Lamentation of Jefus over Jerufalem. The defign of the difcourfe is to apply our Saviour's pathetic complaint to this kingdom; to convert it into a remonftrance againft the vices of a nation which has received mercies fcarcely lefs fignal than thofe with which Jerufalern was diftinguimed. The conclufion is in our author's beft manner, and we mall confequently infert it. ' And thou, O Son of God, deign the efficacious concurrence of thy grace with our fincere though feeble efforts to refemble thee in every circumftance of conduit. Wonderful product, easy to stay motivated!

I bought this mini-elliptical after reading all the reviews on this and other similar products. I bought this item for three main reasons:1 - Low price2 - Small size3 - PortabilityI like the elliptical movement because I have bad ankles, and treadmills and steppers hurt me after a short time working out. I don't have room for a full-size elliptical machine in my house, and this turned out to be the perfect size. Plus, it's small size made it easy to move around the house to be where I wanted to use it. I like to work out while watching TV to keep my mind elsewhere and work out longer, and I can pull this machine (about 25lbs) in front of the TV in the living room to watch TV with family (yes, they laugh at me, but it's worth it), and then pull in front of my bed in the bedroom to watch a chick flick that no one else wants to watch. I even put my elliptical in front of my computer to watch Netflix movies online! It's easy to carry around.Another great... 5/5 N. good but not perfect

This is a fairly compact, noiseless and easy-to-assemble machine and it does its job.The counter is placed out of the way, between your ankles, so you don't have to stare at it while exercising (unless you exercise while staring at your ankles) which to me is a plus. Also, the counter only accounts for the actual time you spend exercising, so if you go get a drink of water and return, it self-pauses, which is cool. The machine does occasionally rock slightly from side-to-side during use which I'd imagine could cause injury. Also, the machine doesn't glide easily during strides as it does on a regular elliptical; it occasionally jolts. This can be jarring, especially if you're not used to the unusually short strides on this machine. I recommend using this while you have something to stabilize yourself if this happens (I use it in a doorway)Not the best machine out there, but it's certainly affordable and easy to use, a great purchase for a small... 3/5 sgme - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) 15-Day Review

Normally, I take reviews with a grain of salt. I work in advertising, so I'm well aware that companies often hire freelancers to write positive reviews for their products in order to improve sales. That said, I figured I would write an honest review after using this elliptical trainer for about half-a-month.I received the trainer on about the 20th of September and have been using it at least every other day since. It was extremely easy to piece together (I have put together a Bowflex Treadclimber in the past, as well as a StairMaster so this was practically nothing at five parts) and even easier to use. However, the stride IS significantly shorter than that of a standard health club elliptical--after about ten minutes of using the trainer, though, I didn't even notice the short stride.I bought the trainer as an alternative to running or biking outside since the cold weather is settling in and I wanted no excuses when it came to maintaining some sort of exercise... 4/5 jneeni (Long Island, NY) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Great for the price and very well made

Since finding no reviews on record here, I was very skeptical when searching for a value priced elliptical with the features I required. With limited floor space in our living room, I wasn't even considering the more popular mammoth sized machines with electronic screens and fancy programs since their price tags were sky high. This compact little cutie is perfect for my needs. When a doctor recommended I use an elliptical as a low impact exercise with my bad knees, I knew I'd need to find the right machine before beginning my workout regimen. This machine comes in a few pieces but assembly was very self-explanatory with full graphics and easy to follow instructions. All needed tools were included. From start to finish it took me under 50 minutes and I'm normally all thumbs with assembling. This really was a snap! The unit takes up a small footprint on my wooden floor and can be moved around depending on where I wish to use it. Maximum weight is 250 lbs. and I had a friend try... 5/5 frisky2000 (Forever Summer) - See all my reviews, June 10, 2013

0 5/5 Amazon Customer - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Stamina InMotion Elliptical Trainer with Handle I had a problem with the original one purchased, called customer service and requested a new part. They sent the wrong part so when I called again they said they would just send a whole new piece since it would be difficult to for me to attach the part. Well, they sent me a whole new machine! It seems that it is a new model as it was much better made and more sturdy. Its very quiet and I love it. It's compact so it doesn't need a lot of room and its very quiet. Great machine for the price! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , February 25, 2014

    Great quality

I love this trampoline! I have been using mine about 3-4 times a week for just over a month. I have never jumped before but thought it might be fun to jump. I do have a past injury to my knee (torn meniscus) so I've always been hesitant to do too much high impact activity. I have found jumping to be easy and I haven't had one problem with my knee yet.Pros- Easy set up. I know a lot of people say you need two people. Using my body weight I was able to unfold it on my own- and I definitely don't have much muscle.- The bounce is good- It's not too stiff, and not too flexible.- It has strong bands instead of springs- I feel my posture has gotten much better since I began jumping.- I feel jumping for 30 mins beats the elliptical any day! It feels easier, more fun, and I feel like I get a better workout.Cons- The silver cover is very hard to stretch onto the trampoline. You definitely will need two people to make it stretch... 4/5 J.L. (California) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Good Value

I have been hearing about how great rebounding is for our health and I was wanting something I could do in my living room while watching tv that would be quiet yet effective. However, I am not ready to make a big investment in a piece of equipment that I may not use very often. At the same time, I do not want something that is poor quality! After researching for a few weeks, I settled on this mini trampoline. It arrived quickly. I was able to set it up by myself without any issues. It did not take a great deal of strength for me to unfold the trampoline (it comes folded in half), but it might be an issue for some people. It took me maybe 20 minutes to set it up and I was off and bouncing. I went on You Tube to look up some workouts and am still, after using this for about a month, learning new moves. I leave it out in the living room most of the time, but when I want to store it I just pick it up and carry it to a closet where I lean it against a wall. Unfolded, it does take up a bit... 5/5 sharifred - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This stepper is a great little machine. It was very easy to assemble - I didn't even look at the directions. The battery for the monitor was included, so I was good to go right out of the box. Additionally, I was elated to find it comes with a workout DVD. I must have missed that on the product description. So, some bad news: it squeaks. I have gone over the length and breadth of it with a can of 3-in-1 oil, and it still squawks intermittently. It's diminished over a few workouts, so I hope it will stop eventually. In the meantime, I keep lube-ing it up before a workout. The resistance bands, while adjustable, are still a bit too long for my 5'3". I also think they are a little weak, but that might be because I can't get enough resistance based on the length. Regarding the monitor: I... 4/5 Autumn N. Piece of Junk!!!

0 1/5 Megan (Washington, D.C.) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Stamina InStride Pro Electronic Stepper (Sports) So far, in the month and a half I have owned this stepper the metal chain has snapped twice. The previous stepper I owned lasted two years. If you have any intention of using a stepper on a regular basis, do not buy this one.-StephenMy husband reviewed this stepper a few weeks ago after we'd had problems with the chain breaking multiple times. After getting a third replacement chain, we were able to use the stepper two whole times before a piece of the welded metal under the pedal that holds the chain snapped off completely, rendering the machine totally useless. As this piece isn't a replaceable "part," the company won't do anything for us. This product was a complete waste of money, not to mention time spent trying to get it to hold together long enough to use it!-Megan 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , August 12, 2009
