Is this enough exercise? Need advice please?

I use a twist stepper mainly as it's the most easiest when everyone's home (twist stepper is like a step machine but it has a little twist to it haha) I do that for Atleast 10 minutes each session, and I aim to do it atleast twice a day. I vary between normal pace and fast pace, definitely makes me sweat and legs feel weak haha. I also always do the plank ab exercise for atleast 2 minutes a day. I walk everywhere I can wherever I can. Is this enough exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle? I don't eat much (bad I know) but does the exercise sound ok. For extra info I'm 17, 5'8 and weigh about 130 lbs. Thanks xx

You really should be doing more cardio if possible and some light weight training. Check this out I came across this and it's designed for home workouts. The planks are really good a strong core is essential and you really need to eat more.

About this book
The Microchip PIC family of microcontrollers is the most popular series of microcontrollers in the world. However, no microcontroller is of any use without software to make it perform useful functions. This comprehensive reference focuses on designing with Microchip's mid-range PIC line using MBASIC, a powerful but easy to learn programming language. It illustrates MBASIC's abilities through a series of design examples, beginning with simple PIC-based projects and proceeding through more advanced designs. Unlike other references however, it also covers essential hardware and software design fundamentals of the PIC microcontroller series, including programming in assembly language when needed to supplement the capabilities of MBASIC. Details of hardware/software interfacing to the PIC are also provided.BENEFIT TO THE READER: This book provides one of the most thorough introductions available to the world's most popular microcontroller, with numerous hardware and software working design examples which engineers, students and hobbyists can directly apply to their design work and studies. Using MBASIC, it is possible to develop working programs for the PIC in a much shorter time frame than when using assembly language.* Offers a complete introduction to programming the most popular microcontroller in the world, using the MBASIC compiler from a company that is committed to supporting the book both through purchases and promotion* Provides numerous real-world design examples, all carefully tested* CD contains the source code files and executables, and will include a demo version of the MBASIC compiler, allowing engineers to work out the design exercises in the book

0 5/5 kiwimagicok - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: EasyDriver Stepper Motor Driver (Personal Computers) This product worked like magic right out of the box. 3 wires to my arduino, including ground, 2 to the power supply and 4 to the motor. Took 5 minutes and works great. Used it with the Canakit stepper motor. From the top left of the stepper board the colors to (at least my version of the Canakit stepper) were Red Green (A) and yellow blue (B) in that order from left to right. Hope this helps the next one to get this great product in use. To the arduino, I used pin 2 arduino to go to the direction pin on the driver and pin 3 (arduino) to the middle of the 3 pins on the lower right corner of the stepper driver. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , June 22, 2012

    Just what I needed.

0 5/5 Chad G. Dequevedo - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: EasyDriver Stepper Motor Driver (Personal Computers) I built an Arduino based spherebot and I needed something for my first experience with stepper motors. I used 2 of these with the Canakit stepper motors. I soldered header pins to both of them so I could just use one of the breadboards I have laying around. It took a little tweaking of the power pot to get the motors running smoothly, but not much. I just kept motors on a running loop while adjusting the amps and after that I had no problems. Using a 12V 1.5A power supply, the motors have plenty of torque. I cannot stop them from turning by hand. While I do like these, I am now trying to build a CNC Mill. I just ordered 2 pololu stepper drivers to try out. They have 1/16th microstepping while the easy driver only has 1/8th. They are also $5 cheaper and seem to have the same wiring set up. I don't have them yet, so I don't know what they are like, but you might want to take a look at them before buying these. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , February 28, 2013

Great Portable Workout, but limit to 10-15 mins???

I just received the twist stepper today, and I thought Id write a quick review on my first impression.Pros:-Looks Fairly well made and Sturdy-The arm straps are adjustable, and they give excellent resistance-The stepping resistance is adjustable and gives a really good workout-The computer turns on and off automaticallyCons:-The step feels like baby steps. Not horrible, but worth noting-The instructions say to limit workouts to 10-15 mins??? WTH?Im assuming thats to prevent a heat build up from friction, but 15 mins?It seems like a good buy and will do exactly what I want it to do. I want to workout every day with enough resistance to maintain my body weight. Its portable enough that I can use it in any room, so chances are I will end up using it very regularly. Thanks for reading!**UPDATE**I emailed sunny health and fitness about the 15 minute time limit on work outs. They told me that the... 4/5 A. A. Eheander - See all my reviews, September 21, 2012

Hands down best little stepper made!

0 5/5 Marstonality - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Sunny Health & Fitness Twister Stepper (Health and Beauty) After reading other reviews for this and other mini steppers sold here, I ordered this one and kept my fingers crossed. So absolutely glad I bought this thing! It is beautifully designed, sturdy, and required no assembly. The pedals position your feet legs and hips to simulate the real action of the body in climbing stairs--something which the others fail to do, and, force you to use all of the muscles of the hip torso and thighs. I am a personal trainer so have studied the physiolgy involed in these movement dynamics. Add three pound hand weights to ramp up arm muscle challenge, instead of the hand straps which I found restricted natural arm swinging form. Perfect for doing while watching tv or talking on the phone. I love this thing!! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , September 3, 2010

    Needs Coolant!!!

I really wish this came with instructions. Without them I ruined my bit in 5 minutes. After ruining it I looked up how I should have used it. Ideally this should be used in a drill press with a constant flow of coolant. However, if you are cutting a keg (like I am) with a hand drill then you must only cut 15-20 seconds at a time, wait 60 seconds, wipe the old oil off and add more oil, repeat. Never let the bit get hotter then you can touch. Second never run the drill quickly, slow as you can. Fast apparently can heat the SS fast enough to harden it.The final note I found is never use a steel file or brush on stainless steel. If you do it will embed little microscopic bits of stainable steel in the stainless and will cause rust. De-burr with either a stainless steel file or sand paper.I know all this is stupid obvious to anyone who works with metal, but judging by the reviews most of the people buying this are brewers not metal smiths. Oh well $14 lesson learned, hopefully... 3/5 N. Cody (San Francisco, CA USA) - See all my reviews, July 30, 2013

    It got the job done!

0 5/5 Multiplier (SMV, CO USA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Neiko Titanium Step Drill Bit - 1/4" to 1-3/8" in 1/8" Increments, 10 Steps (Misc.) I needed to drill a 1-3/8" hole in a stainless steel kitchen sink (not sure of the thickness, but it was a heavier gauge than some of the less expensive sinks I've seen) for an instant hot water device. I had another step bit that wouldn't touch it. This one did the job, albeit with some time and effort. I started with a 1/8" bit and worked up to 3/8" or 1/2" (I forget which) before using the step bit. Then, I drilled one step at a time using liberal amounts of cutting oil, it cut slower as the hole got bigger which makes sense as it was working harder to remove more material. The key to the job was letting the sink and bit cool down between steps (cool water helped speed up the process and also kept the sink from warping). I had my wife drizzle oil on the bit/sink while I drilled - messy but effective. Bit seems to have survived just fine, still feels nice and sharp. As an aside, we love the instahot, too - it was worth the effort! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , December 7, 2009
